A SINGLE SERVICE POINT FOR PORT FEES
Gemeentelijk Belastingkantoor Twente (GBT), the local tax office in Twente, takes care of calculating and collecting the port, mooring and warehousing fees on behalf of the municipalities participating in Port of Twente. The amount to be paid depends on the water displacement (cubic metres). The GBT uses the tonnage certificate as its starting point. For the current rates, please see the port regulations and the port fee regulations drawn up jointly by the municipalities of Lochem, Hof van Twente, Hengelo, Almelo and Enschede.
ONLINE REGISTRATION OF PORT CALLS​
You are required to pay port fees in order to use the ports along Twente’s canals. For this purpose, we have developed an online portal to make it easy to register your port calls.
The first time you use the portal, you will be asked to choose your own login name and password and enter some basic details to create an account. You can then use your chosen login name and password to conveniently register each port call. The system automatically links your basic details to each new registration.
